Do you have an existing bag that you would like transformed into something new?

The Process

  • We can transform your existing bag into one of the bag shapes shown below.

    • If you don't see a shape you'd like but find one in our Shop or Archive, please contact us to discuss your project.

  • Every custom project is individually quoted. Because each bag is unique, the final cost depends on factors such as the size and condition of your original bag, the amount of material available, the design you select, any modifications or customizations, additional materials or hardware, and the location from which your bag will be shipped.

  • Minor design adjustments may be possible, such as slight variations in size, hardware details, or other small changes. Additional fees may apply depending on the request.

  • Any additional hardware, leather, fabric, or other materials that do not come from your original bag may incur additional charges.

  • A non-refundable $125 project fee is required to begin the custom project process. This covers the initial consultation, evaluation of your materials, and development of your project plan. The $125 fee will be applied toward the final cost of your completed bag.

  • All custom projects are currently handled remotely. After you contact us, we will provide instructions for sending photos and information about your bag so we can determine whether your project is a good fit.

  • If your project is accepted, we will provide you with a custom quote before you send your bag to us. The quote will take into consideration the work required as well as the estimated cost of shipping your bag and completed project.

  • Once you approve the quote, we will provide you with an agreement that must be signed before work begins. The agreement will include:

    • notes detailing the agreed-upon design and build

    • the final project quote

    • estimated shipping costs

    • a general timeframe for completion

    • other applicable project details

  • You will then be provided with instructions for shipping your bag and any materials to us. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to us.

  • Minor cleaning of your bag may be performed if necessary. If significant cleaning or preparation is required, additional fees may apply. We will contact you for approval before performing any substantial cleaning or restoration work.

  • Once your bag is completed, we will contact you with photos and arrange shipment back to you. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Return shipping costs will be included in your project quote when possible, or confirmed before the completed bag is shipped.

  • Payment in full is required before your completed bag is shipped back to you.
