What is Mend & Muse?
Mend & Muse is a small studio based in Mānoa Valley that creates one-of-a-kind handmade bags using reclaimed, vintage, and scrap materials. Every piece is designed with intention, crafted with care, and carries a story of sustainability.

What makes your bags sustainable or eco-conscious?
Our materials are mostly sourced from reclaimed leather, vintage fabrics, and discarded textiles. We believe in giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste — making each bag not only beautiful, but meaningful.

Are all of your bags one-of-a-kind?
Yes! Because we use reclaimed and vintage materials, no two bags are ever exactly the same. Each piece is unique and carries its own character and history.

Do you take custom or commissioned orders?
We offer a limited number of custom builds based on designs already available in our shop. You can explore current options and request a build here: Custom Build

Do you do bag repairs or restorations?
We offer light restoration and repair services on a case-by-case basis, especially for vintage or designer bags. Get in touch with details and photos, and we’ll let you know if it’s a project we can take on. Check out more details here: Restoration

Where do you source your materials?
We gather materials from a mix of vintage shops, estate sales, thrift stores, and even damaged designer bags. We're always on the lookout for beautiful textiles and well-worn leather that still have a story to tell.

📦 SHIPPING & ORDERS

Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship within the U.S. and to select international countries. Shipping options and prices will appear at checkout. If you have questions about a specific destination, feel free to contact us.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Most in-stock items ship within 3–5 business days. Custom pieces may take longer depending on complexity. You’ll receive tracking info as soon as your item ships.

❤️ CARE & SUPPORT

How should I care for my bag?
Since many of our materials are vintage or delicate, we recommend keeping your bag away from moisture and storing it out of direct sunlight. Spot clean with a soft cloth and avoid overloading it to preserve its shape and structure.

What if my item arrives damaged or isn't what I expected?
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, and we’ll do our best to make things right. We want you to love your piece!
